All about my wedding dress Toronto! The “LAUDIN” By Pronovias

Ah, the dress. THE DRESS. It’s fair to say that I’ve shared a lot of outfits in my time. Over one thousand, actually but this could quite possibly be my favorite outfit ever.

Wedding dress Toronto

Was it practical? No.

Did it drive me mad? Yes. Did I have to get changed during the wedding breakfast because I couldn’t bear it any longer? Yes.

Would I wear something different if could do it all again? HELL NO.

To briefly re-cap the previous posts though. I’d always wanted a traditional Spanish dress and I’d always wanted a mega-veil and I think this made my decision-making process a lot easier. I wasn’t diving into the world of wedding dresses with no idea of what I wanted, it was always going to be a traditional gown. There were very few dresses that I liked in the magazines and the ones I did like all tended to be variations of roughly the same thing.

I had always imagined I’d wear a long sleeve dress. However then when K-Midd wore hers I went off the idea (sorry babe) and I realized a veil could cover my arms pretty well anyway if I got the right style. I loved Kate’s dress, but I really didn’t want to look like I’d copied her. Bitch stole my look, basically.

I found my dress on my first shop visit (Cinderella Bridal) and I could have bought the wedding dress Toronto there and then if it wasn’t for the fact that I wanted my mum and best friend to see it too. On the second visit to the store, I placed my order (a lot more about all the shopping/fitting side of things here) and that meant I was allowed to take some snaps in store
